COCKROACH CONTROL
Cockroach is harmful for a healthy living condition. They contaminate food, drop feces on utensils and leave a foul smell all around. But cockroaches are most damaging when they spread diseases. Medical scientists have conclusively linked cockroach allergen with asthma attacks. Cockroaches carry pathogens of a range of diseases including dysentery, gastroenteritis, typhoid, etc. At least thirteen (13) species of cockroaches have been recorded so far in Bangladesh. American Cockroach (Periplaneta americana) and German Cockroach (Blatella germanica) are most prevalent in this country. German Cockroaches are relatively small in size compared to American Cockroaches and hard to control. German Cockroach is more abundant in apartments, restaurants, hotels, etc.
AMERICAN COCKROACH
A large (1 1/2 to 2" long), reddish or chocolate brown cockroach, with a pale edge to the thoracic shield. The female cockroach produces egg cases containing about 16 eggs, Development from an egg to an adult can take as little as 4-5 months under ideal conditions. Adults may live 2 years.
GERMAN COCKROACH
A small to medium sized (up to 5/8" long), pale brown cockroach with two distinct dark longitudinal stripes on the thoracic shield. The female cockroach produces an egg case containing up to 38 eggs, which contributes to their very high reproductive potential. Development from an egg to an adult can take as little as 6-7 weeks under ideal conditions.

How to apply Zaps Ultra Gel ?
Apply Zaps Ultra Gel as small beads (drops) in areas where cockroaches are found abundant or hide such as kitchen cabinets, under the sink, crack & crevices of wall, back side of the drawers, cabinet frame adjoining the wall , store room, bath room etc.
Two to three drops of gel should be applied per square meter ( 3.5x3.5 ft. appx.) of surface area. Zaps Ultra Gel is available in syringe pack which can be applied easily as small drops ( spots or beads). Please note that to be effective , Zaps Ultra Gel beads ( spots) must remain in place for several days to attract cockroaches and applied beads ( drops) are not wiped out or washed away. How to control cockroach with Zaps Ultra Gel ?
Hydramethylnon the active ingredient of Zaps Ultra Gel creates the “ Magnified Domino Effect” for cockroaches and die. Cockroaches feeding on Zaps and spread throughout the entire cockroaches population though feeding of their own faces and dead bodies and in the process the entire population is eliminated . Hidden cockroaches attracted by cockroaches feeding on Zaps. It is observed that more than 40 cockroaches dead by an attracted cockroach of hydramethylnon. Cockroaches feeding on Zaps die normally with in 2 to 3 days.
